An Exeter woman who was attacked by a man who'd been stalking and threatening her for five years is to help train a new network of specialist advisors -= and may also help train the local police.
Helen Pearson had reported his behaviour to the police but no action was taken until he tried to kill her, attacking her in a cemetery last October.
He's now awaiting sentencing for attempted murder.
Helen will be talking about her experience to the trainees on a course developed by the Paladin group - which supports victim, ensures they're getting the protection they need, and helps collect evidence to bring the stalker to justice.
