A band of volunteers is clearing litter from Exmouth beach today.
They're taking part in a national beach clean-up day organised by the Marine Conservation Society.
The MCS says rubbish dumped on beaches and debris from ships are a serious environmental concern as well as spoiling the look of the seashore, posing dangers to many birds and species of marine wildlife.
