Local fire crews were called to a barn fire near Tiverton last night.
The building contained 200 straw bales and farm machinery - and was well alight on arrival.
Three engines and the water cannon from Bridgwater were dispatched.
No one's thought to have been hurt in the blaze.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
