A fire at a derellict school in Plymstock is believed to have been started deliberately.
Smoke was seen rising from the old sports hall at Dunstone Primary School at around six o’clock in the evening.
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue received multiple calls about the blaze. Fire Crews from Greenbank, Camels Head and Crownhill attended the scene.
Crews used two breathing apparatus, one safety jet and positive pressure ventilation fans to clear the smoke, in the centre of the sports hall area.
No injuries were reported and investigations into what happened are ongoing.
