Crews work through the night
Twelve fire appliances have been working on a major blaze after a thatched roof caught fire in Torquay.
The fire at the two storey property in the Shiphay area was reported at around 4.40 p.m. on Tuesday.
Police cordoned off the area.
Fire crews have been sent from all over the south of the county, including from as far as Exeter and Plymouth.
No one is reported to be hurt and the cause of the fire has not yet been established.
