A fire in the Polsloe area of Exeter late last night is being treated as arson. It damaged part of a garage behind a house in Pinhoe Road at around midnight.
Fire crews found that rubbish in the alley running alongside the building had been set alight and the flames had spread to the garage.
Emergency crews have also been dealing with a car on fire in Exmouth.
The vehicle was found to be well alight in Henley Road at about ten to three this morning.
The police attended as the car appeared to have been in a collision.
And a coach has been destroyed by fire in Torquay.
It was close to industrial buildings at Barton Garage Services and the police were called out to help with traffic control as two fire crews extinguished the blaze.
