Fire crews from Honiton and Ottery St Mary had to help rescue a horse from a ditch yesterday.
A Specialist Rescue Team from Exmouth and a vet were also involved.
The 700kg, 29 year old animal was in a field near Plymtree.
It was left in the care of the owner and vet.
