It happened in a wood workshop
Fire crews have been tackling a blaze at a workshop in Rattery near Ivybridge.
The blaze took place in a wood storage area at the workshop.
Three appliance from Buckfastleigh, Ashburton and Ivybridge were sent to the scene as well as aerial resources from Torquay. On arrival, additional help was required from crews in Bovey Tracey and Paignton.
A short time later, a water bowser from Plympton was called upon.
In total, a hose reel jet along with a covering jet, two positive pressure ventilation fans as well as small tools and lighitng was used.
An investigation into the blaze in underway.
