Firefighters work for more than 12 hours on East Devon blaze
Fire crews from Exeter have put out a fire involving up to 400 large bales of straw which caught fire in a field at Greendale Business Park near Woodbury Salterton early on Wednesday morning.
They were called to Greendale Business Park at around 4.45 am.
Crews requested compressed air foam and a water carrier to help protect nearby buildings.
Telehandlers and other specialist vehicles are being used to move burning material away from the road and buildings.
It took more than 12 hours of work to put and the fire and dampen down. Local people were asked to keep windows shut to prevent toxic fumes getting in.
The fire service says it's told police than early indications suggest this was an arson attack.
