27 acres burn on Dartmoor
Firefighters battled a large moorland fire on Nattadon Common near Chagford overnight.
Five teams across the county were called before 7 p.m. (Monday, March 24) and faced three separate fire fronts, including towering flames reaching the heights of double-decker buses.
Around 27 acres of fern, bracken and gorse have been put out using beaters and Scotty packs.
It's believed to of been started accidently and crews have now left the scene.
