VIDEO: The incident happened on Burnthouse Lane
Fire crews were called to a major blaze involving two vehicles in Exeter last night [22 February].
Pictures show the van and car completely engulfed in flames on Burnthouse Lane at around 10pm.
Officers say the cause is believed to be accidental.
In a statement, they added: "Fire Appliances from Middlemoor and Danes Castle were mobilised to this incident. On arrival, crews confirmed one Van and one Car well alight.
"Fire crews used three Hose Reel Jets, four Breathing Apparatus and Compressed Air Foam to extinguish the fire."
