Engineers are back at the Grand Western Canal near Tiverton, where it burst its banks earlier this week.
They're dealing with the huge amount of water which flowed out on to fields.
A pumping operation is underway to return some of that water to a secure part of the canal, to prevent it reaching nearby homes.
Two huge sections of the embankment collapsed near Halbeton on Wednesday, caused by constant erosion of water overtopping the canal, and a temporary dam was put in place.
