Plans to redevelop Exeter City football club's grounds and build student flats nearby have been given the go-ahead by the Secretary of State.
Local residents' group the St James Forum had objected to the multi-storey student accommodation block - saying it would be out of character with its surroundings and that there's already a large local student population.
They'd appealed against planning approval - and will now have to decide if they want to continue their challenge through a judicial review.
The football club's chairman Julian Tagg says they're keen to work with the forum to allay concerns about the student flats - and move forward with the much-needed redevelopment of the stadium.
