Police tackling organised crime have seized drugs and cash after two raids in Exmouth and Exeter. Two men have been arrested.
Officers searched a property in the Bankside area of Exmouth yesterday - they found heroin with a street value of 50 thousand pounds and a large quantity of cash.
A 49 year old man was arrested on suspicion of possessing the Class A drug with intent to supply.... and money laundering.
A further search warrant was carried out in Exeter's Countess Weir area - more cash was found there and a 39 year old man was arrested, also on suspicion of money laundering.
The raids involved officers from the regional organised crime unit Zephyr, which brings together five police forces to tackle organised crime networks operating in the south west.
