Police are investigating a hit and run accident near Moretonhampstead, in which an eight year old boy suffered a fractured leg.
Last Wednesday at about 10 past 4 a white van hit the boy in a narrow country lane, travelling towards North Bovey.
The van may have had signwriting and a fluorescent stripe on the side.
Any witnesses, or anyone with information, is asked to contact police.
