It happened near Okehampton on Friday
A horse rider's died after being thrown from her horse near Okehampton last Friday.
Police were called to Hayne Cross near Lewdown at 11:35am on Friday (14th December).
The 64-year-old woman from Launceston sustained a head injury, but also suffered a medical episode.
She was flown to Derriford Hospital by air ambulance but has since died.
Police say no one was involved and a file is being prepared for the coroner.
