The popular traveller passed away on Sunday
Friends of John Treagood say the "1st of John's final wishes complete. John's caravan is now on Ide roundabout so people can pay their respects".
The popular traveller died on Sunday evening at the age of 84.
Tributes have been pouring in, along with donations to pay for the cost of his funeral and the care of his beloved animals.
Details of his funeral have now been shared, with all welcome at Whimple Crematorium on Thursday 27th February at 4pm.
Friend Sasha says "John did not wish for flowers at his funeral but any donations will be made to World Horse Welfare. John requested for bright and colourful to be worn - no black - it is to be a celebration he said"
They are also hoping to arrange a live webcast for his funeral, so those who can't be there can watch.
A justgiving page is still take donations to help pay for the funeral and the care of his animals.
