A Crediton children's author has his latest book published this week and hopes it will provide an alternative to computer games and TV.
Frank Bristow has created the Bears of Bopplestone and written a series of books about them as they continue their quest to share their lives with people.
He says it builds on the fantasy many children enjoy, that their teddy bears come to life and he thinks using their imagination when young makes them likely to be creative thinkers as adults.
