Exmouth's Sandy Bay beach has been awarded a Blue Flag for water quality, safety and good management.
Dawlish Warren, Coryton Cove, Teignmouth Town and Ness Cove in Shalton have also earned the internationally-recognised standard - along with four in Torbay.
It's awarded by Keep Britain Tidy.
