Applications have opened for places at a new technical college - set up by Exeter University and South Devon College in conjunction with local employers.
It aims to provide a specialist secondary education for 14 to 18 year olds who want careers in science and engineering - and give them the skills needed by local industries in those fields.
Exeter-based South West Water is one of the companies who've helped draw up the curriculum for the South Devon University Technical College, which is based in Newton Abbot.
