A host of unsung heroes and heroines have been honoured in the Radio Exe Pride of Devon awards.
The ceremony took place last night at the Devon County Show ground.
Among those recognised for going the extra mile were a school teacher, a Royal Marine veteran and an environmental worker.
Award categories included Grandparent of the Year, Teacher of the Year and Community Contribution.
