25-year-old in custody on suspicion of attempted murder
A man has been arrested in London on suspicion of attempted murder following an acid attack in Plymouth last month.
The victim, a man in his 30s remains in hospital in a serious condition, following the incident on Lipson Road at around 3.55am on Friday 21 February.
The 25-year-old suspect remains in custody whilst an investigation continues.
Detective Superintendent Ben Davies said: “I would like to thank the local community and wider public for their support and patience while we have been carrying out our enquiries into the incident.
“As part of our ongoing enquiries, we’re keen to hear from anyone who has relevant information about the incident or those involved.
“Anybody who has yet to speak to police who may have information or CCTV or dashcam footage is asked to contact police on 101 or via our website quoting log 69 of 21 February.”
