Man threatened. £300 taken
A man in his thirties has been robbed by two people who befriended him in Lynton, took him to a car, where they threatened him and made him use his mobile phone to transfer £300 to them from his bank account.
The victim was taken to a vehicle at Lower Meadow car park, Castle Hill, around 11am on Tuesday. After being forced to transfer the money, he was driven to an unknown location and dropped off. Police haven't been able to trace the suspects. They are now keen to identify a light coloured 4x4 SUV type vehicle with either a white striped roof or white cab that is believed to have driven from Lynton toward the Blackmoor Gate area.
One man is described as white, about 5ft 9ins tall, of a fat build with short black hair and stubble on his face. The other man is white, skinny, with shaved hair and blue eyes. He was wearing a white T-shirt with grey stripes. Both had Eastern European accents.
