Passers-by flag down ambulance
A man is critical but stable in hospital following an incident at Appledore Quay, North Devon.
The 36-year-old man serious head and other injuries, but police have not disclosed how he could have come by them.
Passers-by flagged down an ambulance to help the casualty on the afternoon of Monday 6 September.
Detective Inspector Praveen Naidoo said: “It is important that we speak with those persons that were present to help us understand what happened. If you were on Appledore Quay and saw what happened we’d be keen for you to get in touch.”
