A man has died in hospital following an altercation outside a pub in Ottery St Mary.
Police were called to the Kings Arms at around 10.15pm on Sunday 2 November, to an incident involving a group of people in the courtyard.
A 67-year-old local man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries - he died in hospital on 17 November.
A 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing greivous bodily harm.
Two men, aged 33 and 47, were arrested on suspicion of assault occassioning atual bodily harm and violent disorder.
Two other men, aged 31 and 49, were arrested on suspicion of violent disorder.
All five have been bailed until February 2026 pending further enquiries.
