Woman suffers serious injuries
A man has died following a collision on the A39 in North Devon.
Police were called at around 1.30am to a collision between a grey Ford Torneo van and. blue Toyota Celica between Barnstaple and Bideford, near the Brynsworthy Junction.
The male driver of the car suffered fatal injuries, whilst the female driver of the van suffered serious injuries and was taken to North Devon District Hospital.
Crews from South Western Ambulance Service and Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene along with local and roads policing officers.
Police have launched an investigation into the cause of the collision. They're asking witnesses to come forward.
