A 51-year-old man has died a week following a crash between a car and a lorry on the A38.
Emergency services were called to reports of a collision involving a blue Vauxhall Corsa and a lorry on the westbound carriageway A38 at Deep Lane, Plymouth on Wednesday 27 March at around 8.05 pm.
As a result of the collision, the local man was taken to Derriford Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
He passed away on Wednesday 3 April. His next of kin are aware.
The road was partially closed for around five hours while an investigation was carried out at the scene.
