Two men have been charged
A man is fighting for his life in hospital, after being attacked in Torquay in the early hours of Tuesday morning [31 March].
The 43-year-old victim is in an induced coma, and is being treated for a serious head injury and a badly broken jaw.
Two men have since been charged in connection with the incident on Morgan Avenue just after midnight.
Benjamin Draper, 29, from Torquay, has been charged with committing grievous bodily harm with intent and committing actual bodily harm.
Stuart Shewell, 28, from Torquay, has been charged with committing grievous bodily harm with intent.
Both have been remanded in custody and are due to appear at Exeter Magistrates Court today [Wednesday 1 April].
