A man's in court this morning in connection with an alleged stabbing in Tiverton.
Forty four year old Gary Hopes, from Authers Heights in the town, is charged with wounding with intent.
A twenty seven year old woman was attacked on the old railway line at Cowley Moor and taken to hospital by ambulance.
Mr Hopes is appearing before Exeter Magistrates Court.
