Police are appealing for witnesses following an incident in the early hours of Saturday 8th December.
It's said to have happened between 2am and 2.10am outside the EX4 bar in Fore Street.
It's alleged a man in his 20s was punched by another man.
A 27-year-old local man, who was arrested on suspicion of assault, has been released pending further enquiries.
