Victim suffers knife wounds
A man has life-changing injuries following a knife attack in Exeter.
A police cordon remains in place in the Cowick Street area after the incident on Tuesday afternoon at around of Exeter 4.30pm.
The victim is a man in his thirties.
A 36-year-old man from Exeter is being questioned on suspicion of attempted murder and remains in police custody.
Detective superintendent James Dowler said: “A heightened police presence will remain in Exeter and notably in the St Thomas area of the city as our investigation continues.
“If anyone has any information, we ask that they contact us.”
