He fell into the estuary at Kingsbridge in the early hours of this morning.
A man's been rescued by fire crews after falling off a bridge into the Kingsbridge Estuary.
Ambulance crews called Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue just after midnight to say there was a man in the river.
Fire appliances from Kingsbridge and Salcombe, along with specialist rescue crews from Exmouth were all sent to help with the rescue.
Crews set up lighting and used a long ladder and dry suits to rescue him.
He was taken to hospital by ambulance.
