Exeter residents are invited to a public meeting this evening to give their views on the idea of a local currency.
Several businesses and the city council are supporting the proposal for an Exeter Pound which could be used to pay for goods and services from local traders, keeping money within the community.
The meeting takes place at St Stephen's Church at 7pm.
