New temporary accommodation for homeless people is to be provided in Exeter thanks to a grant to the charity St Petrock's.
It has been awarded £100,000 by the Garfield Weston Foundation, which will help buy a property that can be used by people urgently needing a roof over their heads.
Jill Luckings, from St Petrock's, says it will benefit those who could otherwise end up sleeping on the streets.
