More Government funding could be on the way for local transport schemes.
Last week the Local Transport Board, which allocates Government money, announced that five projects including two in Exeter were to receive a cash injection that'll pay for most of the cost.
They're the scheme to widen Bridge Road in Countess Wear and the building of a new railway halt in Marsh Barton.
While the amount of money available for these schemes was less than expected, there is more funding in the pipeline - the Board is lobbying the Government for improvements to the A303 and the rail network.
