Man dies in Shaldon
A motorcyclist has died, after colliding with a recycling lorry in Shaldon on Tuesday afternoon [7 April].
It happened on the A379 Teignmouth Road just after 1pm involving a White LGV recycling lorry and a green Kawasaki motorcycle.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, while his next of kin have been informed.
The road was closed in both directions whilst a forensic examination collision scene was conducted.
Officers from the Roads Policing Team attended are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the collision, either vehicle prior to the collision or have dash camera footage to contact police, quoting the log number 325 07/04/20.
