Dawlish man charged with murder will appear at Exeter Crown Court on Tuesday
A man's been in court this morning charged with the murder of a Dawlish mother.
36-year old Sophie McDonald's body was found in a house in Iddesleigh Terrace in the early hours of Thursday morning. There'd been an overnight search for her involving the police helicopter.
A local man, James McDonald, who's also 36 and said to be the victim's estranged husband, didn't enter a plea this morning. He's been remanded in custody by Exeter magisrates and will appear at Exeter Crown Court on Tuesday.
Police say the incident is an isolated one - and people in Dawlish should't be concerned about their personal safety.
