An Exmouth seafood company's won a Quality Food Award.
The awards are judged by a panel of 50 experts including food writers, chefs and home economists.
The Exmouth Mussel Company has received the prize in the local chilled food category at a ceremony in London - and hopes this will help them expand into the retail market as well as selling wholesale.
They use an environmentally-friendly method to gather the mussels, with equipment that extracts them gently rather than digging into the sea bed.
