An anonymous benefactor has donated nearly seven thousand pounds to replace a vandalised bus shelter in Sidmouth.
The original shelter at the Triangle was set on fire and budget cuts meant the council couldn't afford to rebuild it.
But now a local bus traveller - who doesn't want to be named - has come forward with the money to pay for a new one.
An order has now been placed and the new shelter should be installed within six weeks.
