20-year-old stabbed in eye
Police have reissued an appeal for witnesses after a man was stabbed in the eye in the Whipton area of Exeter on Sunday 4 October.
Police were called at around 11 a.m. following reports of an altercation involving men with weapons in Blackthorn Crescent. Taser-trained officers attended and a scene guard was erected while enquiries were carried out.
A 20-year-old man from Cranbrook was taken to Derriford Hospital with a suspected stab wound to his eye. He has sustained life-changing injuries.
A 28-year-old man from Exeter was arrested on suspicion of wounding/GBH with intent and released on police bail pending further enquiries.
In addition, a 26-year-old man, a 21-year-old man, and a 17-year-old male, all from Cranbrook, were arrested on suspicion of affray, They were released on pending further enquiries.
Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or saw any activity prior to, or after, it.
