West Brom defender comes on loan
Exeter City has signed defender Dara O’Shea from West Bromwich Albion on a six-month loan.
O' Shea, 19, joined West Brom academy at under-16 level and spent last season on loan with Hereford, scoring seven goals to win the club’s young player of the year award in what was a promotion season for them.
He's already captained the Republic of Ireland under-19s and will improve Exeter City manager Matt Taylor’s defensive options.
The central defender says: “I’m very excited. As soon as I heard that Exeter City were interested I couldn’t wait to come down here and meet the lads.
“I wanted to come and play in the Football League, I think I’m ready for it and I want to show the fans and the lads that I’m ready for it.”
