It's been revealed that thirty people a week are being diagnosed with dementia in Devon - but there's currently very little support for them. However Exeter's Age UK charity are hoping to fill that gap by setting up a pilot project offering activities and advice.
It's aimed at people newly diagnosed with the condition.
They and a family member will be invited to join a group exploring activities they can enjoy together, and getting information and advice about the illness.
