An announcement's expected later on changes to community hospitals in east Devon, which could include the loss of beds at some sites.
The North East and West Clinical Commissioning Group is due to outline its plans today, after months of speculation.
There'll then be a public consultation.
The changes are expected to affect the hospitals in Axminster, Honiton, Ottery St Mary, Seaton and Sidmouth.
