It's for cancer treatment, not covid
Cancer patients in Exeter will have the reassurance they'll be well away from coronavirus patients when they go to hospital for treatment. From Monday, the NHS Nightingale hospital, built as a back-up to help the health service cope with the pandemic, will open its doors for the first time. But because Devon has not been hugely impacted by the virus, it will now be dedicated to looking after people living with cancer.
