Vehicle tips over at Colyford
A van driver whose vehicle overturned in East Devon on Wednesday morning called the emergency services whilst trapped inside.
Police called for the help of the fire service, with crews from Seaton and Colyton heading to Shells Lane, Colyford in East Devon around 5.40am.
The driver had reported being unable to get out of their vehicle, after it had overturned, coming to rest on its side.
Fire officers stabilised the vehicle, before working alongside ambulance paramedics to get the driver out through the front windscreen.
The operation took just under an hour before the incident was left in the hands of the police.
