Supporters of a nature reserve in Exmouth are being asked to help the Devon Wildlife Trust buy it to safeguard its future.
The Bystock reserve is owned by South West Water which wants to sell it for 205 thousand pounds.
An anonymous benefactor has provided the money for a deposit and the Trust has some funds available - but needs to raise 45 thousand pounds to close the gap.
