One casualty taken to hospital by air ambulance
Air accident investigators are looking into the causes of a crash in Devon yesterday afternoon.
A light aircraft crashed into a field near Dunkerswell Airfield in Honiton at 12.30 pm.
The Devon and Somerset fire service says it was on the runway and the pilot had managed to get out of the plane before they arrive, but a female was trapped inside. They also had to rescue a male casualty who was then taken to hospital by air ambulance.
There’s no news of his condition or any indication about why the plane crashed.
