Police are investigating reports of an attempted sexual assault on a woman in Torquay.
It’s reported to have taken place on the downs at Walls Hill Road between 9.20pm and 9.40pm on Friday 19 July.
The victim, a woman in her 30s, was reportedly approached from behind by an unknown man who pulled her hair and attempted to remove her trousers. She left the area unharmed.
The suspect is described a male, around 6ft – 6ft 2ins.
He was believed to be wearing a long sleeved black top with black or dark blue jeans.
Police say enquiries remain ongoing, and ask anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information to contact 101 quoting CR/064804/19.
