Officers found "boy" wearing this one.
A bike cop from Devon and Cornwall Police says he doesn't know what went "through this boys head" when purchasing this novelty helmet.
The officer says he's found them for sale on amazon, ebay and online shops. But says they don't have the safety marks to indicate they are suitable for use on the road. He tweeted to say they should have BS '6658:1985’ & the kite mark OR ‘ECE 22.05’, ‘ECE R22-052'.
He's urged parents to check what helmets their children are using on mopeds.
I don’t know what was going through this boys head, but I know what would’ve done if he’d have come off his 125! On searching I found these lids for sale on eBay, online shops & amazon! Horrendous! Mums/Dads take note! What are you kids wearing on their motorcycles-mopeds?
