It's been announced that eleven of Devon and Cornwall police's enquiry offices are to close to save money.
The force says it can save three quarters of a million pounds a year if they shut...Offices in Exmouth, Honiton and Tiverton would go...but Exeter's Heavitree Road would remain open...although with reduced hours. Twenty seven jobs will go as a result of the cutbacks.
The proposals will be put out to public consulation with a final decision expected in July.
